After gracing five major cities in Europe, Fred Again.. finally touched down in Toronto for his next pop-up of his 10 weeks 10 songs 10 cities - the USB002 tour. Since announcing it in October, he’s been to Glasgow, Brussels, Madrid, Lyon, and Dublin and released a track in each respective city.
The night was held at the newly built Toronto venue, Hangar 5 at YZD. Being about 45 minutes outside the city, it proved to be the next big EDM venue for the Canadian east coast; a refreshing change from the usual Toronto clubs many are accustomed to. It's proved to be a great transition for future raves to be held there in a more expansive setting like many other major cities such as NYC or DC.

Fred Again.. has been known to have simple yet viral setups that draw crowds from across the world. Each production dawning weighted opaque and silky drapery over the entirety of an industrial venue, lit up by colored strobes sans lasers. You could say they looked like a stormy night complete with lighting, illuminated by shocking and rhythmic strobes that had the night playing in stop motion (in the best way possible).

He performed a b2b set with Four Tet all night, Fred Again.. saying “fell in love with his music when he was a kid”.
Additional tracks played were KETTEMA’s remix to “Solo” and Hamdi’s of “OK OK” - including a “Peace u need”, the Toronto crowd edition (see his recap here). The day before on stream, he played Viperactive’s “Angel” edit.
The entire show was streamed live on Apple Music, so if you attended, make sure to see if you can spot your head bobbing in the crowd or behind the DJ booth (as you should). His next show was Chicago last night, so if you scored some tickets, we’re deeply jealous.

The real question is where are his last three stops? With only one US city so far, the final spots will be the most sought after before the year ends.
